McHenry County Sheriff’s Deputies and firefighter/paramedics from Marengo responded about 1:06 p.m. Monday July 13, 2020 to a report of a serious crash involving entrapment and extrication at Kishwaukee Valley Rd and Boone McHenry County Line Road in Marengo Township northwest of Marengo.
The first crew on arrival reported confirmed entrapment and request a medical transport helicopter to respond to the scene. The crash involved one unresponsive patient trapped and two vehicles with heavy damage.
A LifeNet medical transport helicopter, and mutual aid ambulances from a Harvard ambulance to the scene and a Woodstock ambulance to stand by at the Marengo fire station. The LifeNet helicopter was assigned to respond to a landing zone at the scene.
