Police and firefighter/paramedics from Chicago responded about 7:50 p.m. Monday July 20, 2020 to a report of multiple people shot at Douglas Boulevard and Lawndale Avenue the North Lawndale neighborhood in Chicago. Initially there was a report of about 20 shots fired with three people shot outside . Police are looking to investigate suspects in a white Chevrolet Impala with black tinted windows. Police on arrival requested four ambulances to the scene.
An EMS Plan 1 was activated about 7:57 p.m. by EMS Field Commander 4-5-4 then 4-5-7.
At least one person possibly self-transported to a nearby hospital.
There was also a report of two people shot in the same time frame near 12th and California Avenue.
