The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) on Saturday, April 18, 2020 announced 1,585 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois, including 125 additional deaths, which equals the highest number of deaths in 24 hours as was also reported on Thursday, April 16, 2020.
