The Molson Coors Beverage Company was formed in 2005 by the merger of Molson of Canada, and Coors of the United States. Molson Brewery, Coors Brewing Company, and Miller Brewing Company are subsidiaries of Molson Coors.
In October 2007, SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Company announced a joint venture to be known as MillerCoors for their U.S. operations that would wholesale all of their products. In October 2019 the company changed its name to Molson Coors Beverage Company and announced that re-structuring would bring 400 to 500 jobs cuts.
Molson Coors also announced that the company would open the company’s new North American operational headquarters in Chicago, but that several positions in offices throughout the United States will be moved to the Milwaukee office.
