Crystal Lake police responded about 4:29 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2020 to a report of a burglary in progress in the block of 500 Darlington Lane in Crystal Lake. Upon arrival of police officers, police identified 24 year-old Matthew R. Reder of McHenry, who immediately barricaded himself in the bathroom of an apartment.
