Timothy Christian, of Waukegan, was fired in February 2020 by Community High School District 117 within a month after he was charged January 27, 2020 with a single count of solicitation of a sex act for offering money in exchange for sex to an undercover police officer, according to court records. All 14 suspects were arrested after they arrived at a Gurnee hotel and offered money to undercover detectives in exchange for sexual acts.
Timothy Christian was released from custody on bail.

Initially, District 117 suspended Timothy Christian without pay, and subsequently fired him. Initially it’s unknown whether Timothy Christian’s suspension by District 46 is with pay or without pay.
Several parents and residents in Lake County expressed on social media that they were aware that the suspect was recognized working in schools or athletic programs for youth.
