Cook County Sheriff’s deputies investigate report of a stabbing in unincorporated Schaumburg.
Police from the Cook County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Schaumburg, and firefighter/paramedics from Rolling Meadows responded about 4:40 a.m. Sunday January 19, 2020 to a report that two people were stabbed.
Several people were inside the 7-ELEVEN, but it did not appear that victims were transported to the hospital by firefighter/paramedics.
Cook County Sheriff’s Deputies had one male adult handcuffed, but it was initially unknown whether anyone was arrested. The male suspect in handcuffs was placed in a Cook County Sheriff deputy’s squad car while sheriff’s deputies appeared to be investigating what allegedly happened.
At least seven or more Cook County Sheriff’s deputies were on the scene in addition to at least one Schaumburg police officer. There was initially no confirmation that two people were actually stabbed.
