One of the famous sons from Arlington Heights apparently has a deep appreciation for his hometown and greater Chicagoland. Sebastian Maniscalco just posted a video on Instagram on December 2, 2019 appropriately named “Sebastian’s Chicago Homecoming.” The three-minute homecoming video highlights a night he hosted with family and friends at the Chicago Cut Steakhouse, a visit to his childhood home in Arlington Heights where his dad still lives, his preparation for a night at the United Center, and the introduction of four of his friends he invited on stage at the end of his show at the United Center on November 2, 2019.

“God Bless Chicago. I love every one of you who came out here tonight. Drive safe. God Bless. Go Blackhawks and Bulls!”

— Sebastian Maniscalco

In Sebastian’s childhood home in Arlington Heights there is a photo of his grandfather — a barber sitting down and reading a Chicago Sun-Times edition with a headline that reads, “BANK ON S.W. SIDE ROBBED OF S50,000”

Video is worth watching with headphones on your smartphone.
