Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:08 PM Tuesday December 10, 2019 to a report of a crash into a storefront window at Chase Bank at 300 East Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighters received a report that a motorist accidentally drove his car up across a sidewalk into a storefront window. Debris showered the interior and some debris from the vehicle was thrown into the interior of the bank, but initially no injuries were reported.
Witnesses at the scene said a 93 year-old man was the driver of the Toyota Corolla that crashed into the window. A small brick wall below the window held the vehicle from entering the bank office area.
