Pickup truck crash into brick wall of attached garage at house in Arlington Heights at 4:20 a.m.
Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 4:21 AM Saturday November 2, 2019 to a report of crash with injuries at Kirchhoff Road and Yale Avenue, Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a vehicle crash into a house at the northwest corner of Kirchhoff Road and Yale Avenue.
This article originally incorrectly reported the cash location at the northeast corner of Kirchhoff Road and Reuter Drive. The article has been corrected.
The injured driver of a pickup truck was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
The driver was apparently northbound on Wilke Road and left the road, crossed Kirchhoff Road, went through a yard fence, grazed a tree, and crashed into the brick wall of an attached garage.
Much of the brick was smashed to the ground, and at least two cracks were visible in the brick above the location where the vehicle hit the wall.
Police are investigating what caused the driver to leave the roadway.
