The San Francisco 49ers moved to 10-1 as the team with the best record in the NFC with their 37-8 victory over the Green Bay Packers. Jimmy Garoppolo’s former team, the New England Patriots, lead the AFC with a 10-1 record, too.
We know what some people are thinking, but Jimmy Garoppolo emphasizes he is taking the season one game at a time.
The highlight of Garoppolo’s night might have been a roll out to his left as though he were preparing to pass on the left, but then George Kittle switched off his route and cut right to the post on the right side of the field for a reception and a 61-yard score.
Garoppolo threw 14 completions in 20 attempts with two TDs at Levi’s Stadium on Sunday Night Football.
In his post-game interview, former Rolling Meadows High School quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo gave a shout out to his grandparents.

#49ers 37, #Packers 8 — Studs and duds as defense wrecks Aaron Rodgers, as Jimmy Garoppolo posts career-best 145.8 passer rating https://t.co/XaPp0KgrB1 #mercnews

If Jimmy Garoppolo doesn't throw another pass tonight, his 145.8 passer rating would be the best of any start of his career. Tonight was just his third game this season with no interceptions. #49ers
