Cary police received a report about 3:40 PM Friday October 18, 2019 of a stolen auto at the Cary Car Wash, 820 Northwest Highway Cary, IL. Police received a report that unknown male offenders were attempting to jump in vehicles while they were being cleaned. At least one of the offenders was able to jump into a woman’s gray 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The auto theft suspect was described as a male/black wearing black jeans. The vehicle and offender were last scene westbound on Route 14 (Northwest Highway).
There were possibly several male/black suspects attempting to steal multiple vehicles.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 3:40 p.m.
