Police in Naperville are asking for the public`s help after a salon was vandalized and burglarized in west Naperville.
Naperville police responded Friday October 11, 2019 to a commercial burglary at Charizma Salon and Spa, 682 South Route 59 in west Naperville near the border with Aurora. Security video captured the burglary in progress. The commercial burglary occurred about 3:02 a.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at a strip mall building in Naper West Plaza.
The offender smashed a glass door and rushed in the salon to go directly to the cash register box. He left with the cash box with an in-and-out time of about 12 seconds.
The offender was described as a male wearing a light-colored hooded jacket and light-colored pants. He also appeared to be wearing socks outside his shoes.
In 2016 there were 86 salon burglaries in Naperville and other west suburban communities.
