Zion police officers responded about 8:21 a.m. Thursday September 19, 2019 to a report of an armed robbery at the Zion Quick Mart. The Zion Police Department is investigating the robbery that took place at the Phillips 66 Gas Station convenience store, 1701 Kenosha Road.
Suspect #1 is described as a male/black, 20-25 years old, approximately 5’10”, short hair, muscular build. He was wearing a black hoodie with gray stripes on the sleeves and matching black sweatpants with a gray stripe on the sides, and white or gray Nike shoes. Suspect # 1 threatened to stab the clerk but no knife was displayed.
Suspect #2 is described as a male/black, between 17-20 years old, approximately 6’3″, thin build and short spiky braids, wearing a black zip-up jacket with a red symbol on the upper left chest area, dark blue jeans, and black shoes.
Reported taken were approximately 20 cartons of cigarettes.
