Schaumburg Police Department responded about 6:00 p.m. Tuesday September 10, 2019 to investigate a threat complaint in the block of 1900 Whittier Lane. Officers were provided with a surveillance audio and video recording of a subject outside of the victims’ residence making threatening statements. The suspect, Phillip Jaster, age 53, was subsequently arrested at his home, on Whittier Court less than one block away. During the course of the arrest, Jaster provided consent for a search of his residence. No firearms were located.
Jaster was transported to the Schaumburg Police Department for further investigation. As a result of this investigation, he was charged with Disorderly Conduct, a Class C Misdemeanor. Jaster was able to post the required bond and was released from custody. As a condition of his bond, he was ordered to have no contact with the victims.
