Crystal Lake police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:37 PM Tuesday September 10, 2019 to a hit-and-run crash with personal injury at Virginia Road and Berkshire Drive Crystal Lake, IL. Police received a report that a driver of a passenger car left the scene after hitting a motorcyclist. Police and firefighter/paramedics on arrival discovered the male driver of the motorcycle and a female passenger were injured.
UPDATE: Crystal Lake police arrested a suspect after the hit-and-run crash at Virginia Road and Berkshire Drive at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday September 10, 2019.
The offending driver’s vehicle was described as a red 2006 Buick 4-door with damage to the front bumper.
The driver of the motorcycle possibly suffered life-threatening injuries, and Flight for Life was dispatched to the scene.
One patient was transported by Flight for Life Level I Trauma Center Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, and one patient was transported to Northwestern Medicine Huntley Hospital with injuries that were not initially considered life-threatening.
