Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:46 PM Friday September 20, 2019 of a bicycle theft in the block of 500 East Grove Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully took the victim’s bicycle after the victim left the bicycle unattended in the front lawn of a private residence.
At the time of the theft, the victim’s credit card was stored in a bicycle bag attached to the seat of the stolen bicycle. That credit card was later used fraudulently for approximately $14.00. The stolen bicycle is valued at approximately $300.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Friday, September 20, 2019 between 5:00 PM and 6:45 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 1:45 (hours: minutes).
