Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:58 p.m. Thursday August 29, 2019 to a report that a person fell from a significant height at the Hancock Square at Arlington Square apartments at 200 North Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.
Firefighter/paramedics exited the front door of the apartment building about 2:20 p.m. with a patient on a stretcher, and being treated with a LUCAS automated CPR device.
A witness of the scene, who did not see the person fall, said that police appeared to be investigating a 7th floor balcony of a south wall (north wing) overlooking the pool terrace area.
Arlington Heights police officers were investigating the scene only until 4:00 p.m. Thursday, so apparently there is no foul play involved in the incident.
This is an early report before any comment, official statement or release from the Arlington Heights Police Department.
