September is the time of year when Apple introduces better iPhones with better features and lowers the price of existing high-end phones. The new top, high-end iPhone might be called the Apple iPhone 11 Pro, according to rumors.
Also, some of the high-end features that are exclusive on higher-end iPhones (XS and XS Max) may become available on the future less-expensive iPhones — features, such as portrait mode, wireless charging, and Face ID ma become available on cheaper iPhones.
In late summer 2019, Apple sells the iPhone XS, XS Max, the new but lower-priced XR, and the older 7, 7 Plus, and 8 and 8 Plus. Some of these iPhones will probably be discontinued — mostly likely the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.
Apple’s iOS 13 will be the new iPhone operating system, but some features may only work or only work well on the new phones.
Tariffs my cost the Apple iPhone an additional 10 percent to import, but some analysts believe Apple will absorb the cost. Hopefully instead of the top tier phones costing $1,100, they will remain about $1,000.
