The main focus is on severe thunderstorm potential overnight Wednesday/Thursday after midnight, and especially around 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. Thursday, followed by a heat trend during the late morning and afternoon Thursday with a Heat Index of about 105-106°F from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Then Friday is likely to be the hottest day with a possible high of 100°F with a Heat Index High of 110°F.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 77. East wind around 5 mph becoming south after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
