According to the Facebook Outage Map for downdetector.com Saturday morning June 29, 2019 about 10:45 a.m. CDT, Facebook is experiencing a major outage in Europe with lesser problems in North America, South America, southern Africa, India, Southeast Asia and Japan.
Users in the worst-case scenario areas are reporting inability to log in to Facebook. Lesser negative effects include white spaces or large blank spaces in place of photos or data, incomplete page loading, and slow page loading.
downdetector.com/status/facebook/map appeared to be trending worse for northeast United States and and Japan from about 10:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m.
Cardinal News noticed a problem with sections of analytics and statistics not loading, and only a spinning circle with the phrase “Loading Data…”
One user in an area north of Denver reported pages taking about 45 seconds to load since Friday June 28, 2019.
One person reported repeated requests from Facebook for verification by a request for a cell phone number.
On Thursday June 27, 2019, The Daily Express in the United Kingdom reported the Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram were all down for about 20 minutes Thursday night.

“The amount of times Facebook goes down is quite a joke to be honest. #facebookdown”.
Another wrote: “Is @WhatsApp down I’m trying to send a screenshot to my friends in a group chat and it’s not sending it’s just loading”.
One added: “Is Instagram site down? Nothing loads, not even links on twitter.”
And another tweeted: “Walking onto Twitter to see that it’s not just me who has their #instagramdown and #facebookdown”.
