Large Power Outages with Branches and Power Lines Down in Northwest Suburbs Near Arlington Heights

High winds brought down large branches in Arlington Heights, Palatine, Mount Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg and Prospect Heights starting about 1:30 p.m. Sunday June 30, 2019. At least one tree was uprooted on Rammer near Kensington in Arlington Heights near Prospect High School. Most of the smaller ComEd power outage locations of five customers or less are not mentioned in this article.

Arlington Heights and Mount Prospect

Tree uprooted in backyard in the block of 0-99 North Rammer — the tree brought down power line. An energized, arcing line was also reported on this block. Several large branches caused partial or complete blockages of road, including rammer, Evanston, Grove, and Gregory.
