All four victims arranged to meet a woman for a date on the MeetMe app and were robbed when they arrived at the agreed-upon location to meet. None of the victims were seriously injured.
After a “date meeting” one of the victims was forced to go to several different ATMs in an attempt to get cash from his bank account, according to Elgin Police Department.
