BEAUTIFUL FOGGY SUNSET PHOTO WITH CHICAGO SKYLINE BY NICK ULIVIERI
Chicagoland residents experienced a big drop from 70°F at midnight Wednesday/Thursday with the temperatures plunging all day Thursday to the upper 40s Thursday night. Tomorrow Chicagoans will face strong North winds all day with wind chill at about 29°F from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and a wind chill high of only 41°F. The air temperature high of 49°F from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. will obviously not feel anything close to that temperature with those strong north winds. Fortunately, the sun will start to appear with clearing clouds beginning about 8:00 a.m. and the outlook for the weekend is good. Look for better weather Saturday and Sunday with a high in the 60s and 70s, respectively.
Weather Radar (also nexrad.chgowx.com) in northeast Illinois is clear, but does show evidence of the counterclockwise motion of a low centered over northern Michigan.
