Increasing east winds will develop as a low pressure over the Front Range of the Rocky Mountain moves east toward the central Great Plains tonight. Winds of 30 to 40 MPH from the east are expected overnight and through 10:00 p.m. Thursday. Peak wind gusts of 38 to 40 MPH are forecast 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Thursday morning. There is a blizzard to the northwest of the low pressure in South Dakota, western Nebraska and southwest Minnesota.
