On Thursday morning April 25, 2019 during the morning rush, Arlington Heights police provided several live videos at their Distracted Driving Prevention operation near Arlington Heights Road and Palatine Road.
Several officers in the traffic bureau stopped drivers caught talking on cell phones or texting on their cell phones.
A driver in a silver Acura was observed possibly watching a video while driving. The male driver had his cell phone right in front of his face.
Several drivers were also observed texting and talking on their cell phones.
April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
