Field sobriety test after a Toyota Camry was crashed into a pole and/or tree on US 12 near Just Tires.
Arlington Heights police arrested a suspect DUI driver following a one-vehicle crash 7:52 AM Monday March 25, 2019 near Just Tires, 221 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report of a crash and upon arrival found a Toyota Camry with severe front-end damage that had crashed into a pole and/or tree.
Police requested firefighter/paramedics respond to perform a medical assessment of the female driver. The driver did not request medical transportation to a hospital.
Next, police performed a field sobriety test. The driver was transported in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters.
The driver’s vehicle was towed to a police holding area.
The identity of the driver was not initially released.
