Retail Theft at Aldi Foods on East Golf Road, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:41 PM Sunday March 3, 2019 of a theft at Aldi Foods, 550 East Golf road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender was soliciting patrons for money outside the grocery store. After being asked by management to leave the property, the male went inside the store, concealed merchandise for sale on his person and left the business without paying for the merchandise. The total retail value of the merchandise was unknown at the time of the police report.

The suspect was described as a male, Hispanic approximately 40 years-old carrying a white cane for visual impairment assistance.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 12:40 PM.
