Field sobriety test after a Toyota Camry was crashed into a pole and/or tree on US 12 near Just Tires.
Arlington Heights police arrested a suspected DUI driver Saturday March 30, 2019 near Just tires, 221 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:07 p.m. to a report of a crash with a pole and/or tree. Upon arrival police and firefighter/paramedics discovered one vehicle involved in a crash with heavy front-end damage.
Police arrested a suspected DUI driver at 9:33 p.m. after the female driver was checked by paramedics and after she participated in a field sobriety test.
The driver was identified as Hollie Alvarez, age 19, of an address on Dundee Quarter in Palatine.

Several thin, tall beverage cans were observed on the roof the car as police were investigating the crash.
The driver did not request medical transportation to a hospital, and police transported the driver in custody to Arlington Heights Police Department Headquarters. The driver’s wrecked Toyota Camry vehicle was towed to a police holding area.
Alvarez was released on an I-Bond.
Court date is for May 8, 2019.
