Crystal Lake police responded about 8:34 PM Sunday March 24, 2019 to a second armed robbery Sunday night of gas station in Crystal Lake at 280 North Route 31 Crystal Lake, IL. Police received a report that two male offenders robbed the Shell gas station. Both suspects were described armed handguns.

#1 Male/black, in his 20s, 6’0″ thin, bald, wearing a black hoodie and displayed a black handgun,
#2 Male/black, in his 20s, light skinned, wearing a gray hoodie with blue letters, displayed a silver hangun.
Both male/black suspects were last seen “running from location.”
The crime is reported to have occurred about 8:32 p.m.
This was the second armed robbery at a gas station in Crystal Lake Sunday, March 24, 2019. There was also a gas station armed robbery at Northwest Highway and Manor Road at about 6:53 p.m.

There was also an attempted armed robbery at a Citgo station about 2:51 p.m. Saturday at 487 South Rand Road in Lake Zurich, just south of Main Street.
There was also an gas station armed robbery at the Gilmer’s Shell gas station at Gilmer Road and Midlothian Road in Hawthorn Woods about 4:20 p.m. Saturday.
