Arlington Heights police responded on Monday March 18, 2019 to a complaint of a Domestic Battery in which the victim was a 79-year-old female, who identified her 19-year-old grandson, Jerrell L. Kibble, as the offender. The victim was transported to Northwest Community Hospital by Arlington Heights Fire Department firefighter/paramedics.
Kibble fled the scene and was located by an Arlington Heights Police officer in the block of 800 North Walnut Avenue. Kibble was combative and refused to follow the directions of a uniformed officer. Kibble attacked the officer and a physical altercation ensued. During the altercation Kibble attempted to remove the officer’s firearm with his left hand. Kibble bit the officer on the right thumb and struck the officer in the head numerous times. The officer used his department issued Taser to subdue Kibble and placed him under arrest. Both Kibble and the officer were treated and released from Northwest Community Hospital.
At the conclusion of the investigation was Kibble was charged with four Felony offenses and one Misdemeanor.
