Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:16 AM Saturday February 16, 2019 to a report of an intentionally set car fire at Stonebridge Apartments, 500 West Rand Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that an abandoned vehicle was on fire behind the back of the building.
A witness reported that a male offender set the vehicle on fire.
The suspect was described as an unknown male/Hispanic approximately 6’1” 250 LBS, wearing a tan sweatshirt and tan sweatpants.
The witness reported the supsect set fire to a 2002 Brown Buick Century in the parking lot.
The suspect was last seen driving a white 1999-2002 Chevy Geo Prism.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Saturday, February 16, 2019 between 7:00 AM and 7:15 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 0:15 (hours: minutes).
