Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:01 PM Tuesday February 19, 2019 of a residential burglary in the block of 2600 North Greenwood Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders unlawfully entered a private residence by prying and kicking open a door while the residents were running errands.
Some of the victim’s personal belongings were strewn about the residence. At the time of the police report it did not appear any personal belongings were taken from the residence.
Video surveillance from inside the residence shows an unknown male suspect wearing jeans, a light colored jacket, and construction gloves.
The crime is reported to have occurred on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 between 5:30 PM and 9:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 3:30 (hours: minutes).
