Chicago Police are asking for help from the public as they are searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run crash with a pedestrian Thursday evening February 14, 2019 on Devon Avenue in Little India, just west of the West Rogers Park neighborhood.
Chicago police, firefighters and paramedics responded about 5:30 p.m. after a 59-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle as she was crossing the street in the block of 2200 West Devon Avenue. The woman was struck by the passenger-side mirror of a Nissan Altima, according to Chicago Police Department.
The woman was transported by Chicago Fire Department paramedics to a hospital, where she was listed in critical condition.

The hit-and-run suspect’s vehicle is described as a red or maroon 2013 to 2017 Nissan Altima. The car had a Lyft service light on the dashboard and a sticker on the passenger side of the rear window.
The car immediately after the crash would have had a damaged passenger side mirror, according to Chicago Police Department.
