Arlington Heights police responded about 4:24 AM Wednesday January 2, 2019 to an armed robbery at 7-ELEVEN, 1418 East Hintz Road Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender entered the business, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The offender is described as a Hispanic male, 20-30 years old, 5’4″ to 5’8″, thin build, wearing a dark cloth over his face, a black jacket, a navy blue shirt, red pants, and sneakers with white sole bottoms.
Arlington Heights police did not release a description of the weapon used, and no direction of travel of the fleeing offender was indicated. Also, no vehicle description was indicated in this case.
The 7-ELEVEN business is located near the borders of Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove and Wheeling at the intersection of Hintz Road, Buffalo Grove Road and Windsor Drive.
No ISPERN (Illinois State Police Emergency Radio Network) radio message was broadcast for this incident.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 4:23 a.m.
