Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:46 AM Sunday September 30, 2018 of criminal damage to vehicle in the block of 200 North Kaspar Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged over a dozen vehicles with red spray paint.
The cost to repair the damage was unknown at the time of the police report.
Many vehicles were spray-painted and covered with red squiggly lines, and many of the vehicles were parked in the Salem Apartments parking lot.
The crime is reported to have occurred between Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:30 PM and Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 5:45 AM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 6:15 (hours: minutes).
This crime incident was reported approximately Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 5:46 AM and the public was informed by the Arlington Heights Police Department on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 2:41 PM CDT. The elapsed time range before the public was notified was 104:56 (hours: minutes) or just over 4 days.
A Honda SUV was also reported damaged with spray paint in the block of 100 South Walnut Avenue in roughly the same time period.
