Cary police responded about 2:10 PM Thursday October 11, 2018 to a bank robbery at US Bank, 25 West Main Street Cary, IL. Police received a report that a male/white offender robbed the US Bank at 1st at Crystal with a demand note.
The offender was described as male/white, age 35, wearing a black hat, gray jacket, black pants and carrying a light tan backpack.
The suspect was last seen walking southbound on Main Street from the US Bank. The suspect may have driven a black Ford Edge toward Barrington.
Two bank robberies occurred yesterday in Carpentersville and Hanover Park. The same suspect may have also robbed a US Bank location at 1301 Irving Park Road in Hanover Park at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 10, 2018 and a BMO Harris Bank at 94 North Kennedy Drive at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday October, 2018, according to the FBI. The Carpentersville BMO Harris Bank is about 13 miles northwest of the Hanover Park US Bank.
At the Cary US Bank, the initial description for the suspect was announced as a male/white, age 35, wearing a black hat, tan trench coat, black pants and carrying a green backpack (corrected above).
