Hoffman Estates police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:14 AM Monday August 13, 2018 to a report of an outside gas leak at an apartment complex at 700 Knoll Lane Hoffman Estates, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report an outside gas leak that occurred after a 2-inch steel line was hit by a construction worker.
Fire command reported they had an active 2-inch supply line leaking, and requested the gas company to expedite their response. Winds were light (0-3 MPH) from north or northwest, and were forecast to shift from the east later Monday.
