Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:06 AM Friday August 17, 2018 to a report of a bicyclist hit by a vehicle near Euclid Avenue and Wilke Road Arlington Heights, Il. A bicyclist was hit by a vehicle and injured on Euclid Ave East of Wilke Road.
Arlington Heights police reported a 37 year-old man riding a bicycle disobeyed a red light while he was northbound on Wilke Road. He was struck by a black 2012 Wrangler that was eastbound on Euclid Avenue.
Police reported the bicyclist suffered a broken leg.
Traffic appeared to be flowing normally immediately after the crash.
