Storms with heavy rain, lightning and high winds are possible tonight and all day Saturday. The storms could reach Arlington Heights and the northwest suburbs just before 11:00 p.m.
Weather Radar (also nexrad.chgowx.com) shows a thunderstorm line from Green Bay, Wisconsin to southwest of Peoria. The line is moving east-northeast, and the strongest storms could line up to cross Kane County, south McHenry County, DuPage County, northwest Cook County and Lake County. Stronger storms are also located in Wisconsin where a Severe Thunderstorm Watch was issued.
