McHenry police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 5:05 PM Friday July 13, 2018 to a report of a police-involved crash at Front Street (Route 31) and High Street McHenry, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report a police-involved crash with two people hurt and a K-9 trapped in the back seat.
At least two people were reported injured. Initially it was unknown whether the K-9 and/or the police officer was injured. It was also initially unknown what police agency was involved in the crash.
Traffic on Route 31 (Front St) backed up in both directions. The crash was reported by multiple Waze users.
