Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:52 AM Sunday July 29, 2018 to a report of a possible hazardous substance at Central Rd and Wilke Rd Arlington Heights, Il. Firefighters on arrival reported a green foaming substance that has “eaten” through concrete, but then reported the substance does not appear to be active.
The substance was investigated and determined to be an older inactive substance, possibly related to demolition work.
