Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies and Antioch firefighter/paramedics responded about 7:37 PM, Monday, June 4, 2018 to a report of a traffic crash involving a motorcycle. First responders discovered an injured male driver, who was not wearing a helmet and was ejected from the motorcycle. The man was transported by paramedics to St. Catherine’s Medical Center in Pleasant Prairies, Wisconsin with serious injuries.
Preliminary investigation shows a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by a Zion man, age 51, was southbound on North Trevor Road near Kennedy Drive. For an unknown reason, the man lost control of the motorcycle, which left the roadway and went into a wooded area.
The crash is under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office Technical Crash Investigations Unit.
