Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:45 PM Saturday June 16, 2018 to a disturbance at or near the Big Shot Piano Lounge & Restaurant, 2 South Vail Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Witnesses said it appeared a man was involved in some type of fight or domestic disturbance. A bystander also saw a man in handcuffs, and a few residents at Dunton Tower were aware of the disturbance on Vail Avenue — all the way up to upper floors of the 15-story apartment building.
Police requested firefighter/paramedics respond to the scene to check on the well being of a person at the scene. It was unknown if anyone was transported to Northwest Community Hospital.
Jeremy M. Sofer was taken into custody and transported to court. Sofer was charged with three counts of resisting a peace officer and two counts of battery.
Overlooking scene on Vail Avenue, just south of Campbell Street near Harmony Park, when man was arrested and charged with battery and resisting a peace officer.
