Arlington International Racecourse announced Wednesday, June 20, 2018 that a special performance is scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the International Festival of Racing by Grammy-nominated country music recording artist and songwriter Eric Paslay. The talented vocalist best known for his hits “Friday Night” and “Song About A Girl” will perform a free concert on the Miller Lite Band Stage in The Park open to all attendees with track admission.

Named one of Chicago’s top 100 events in 2017, the 36th running of the Arlington Million will continue to shine as the gem of the season with world-renowned turf racing and live entertainment in a celebration of Chicago’s biggest day of racing. Arlington’s International Festival of Racing will showcase equine stars from around the globe in four graded stakes events including two Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” opportunities.
Award-winning singer Jim Cornelison, renowned for his performances at home for the Chicago Blackhawks, will deliver the National Anthem as part of opening ceremonies alongside the Presentation of Colors by Marine Air Control Group 48.
Various all-inclusive ticket options are available to make the big day even more entertaining, but none may be as popular as the Million Beer Bash offering three hours of unlimited MillerCoors drafts in The Park along with General Admission and a program. Early bird tickets are available for the special price of $50 until June 30; $60 from July 1 onward.
The Arlington Million Best Dressed Lady & Gentleman contest returns to give fashionable attendees a chance to show-off to a panel of judges. The Top 20 will be invited to a champagne toast where the winners will be announced. Celebrities from across Chicagoland will be in attendance as grace and athleticism is put on display in a memorable day of racing and entertainment at Arlington.
