Jackson Odell, age 20, is reported dead after being found unresponsive in an undisclosed sober living home in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles late Friday June 8, 2018, according to TMZ.
The young actor and performer had been best known for appearing on The Goldbergs, and starring in the teen movie Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer.
Jackson Odell was also a successful singer and songwriter, known for writing several songs for the soundtrack of the 2018 movie Forever Your Girl. Odell with Brett Boyett also wrote and composed Wings of an Angel, a hit single from the movie performed by country music singer and runner-up in the tenth season of American Idol Lauren Alaina.
Police sources report that the initial death investigation shows no signs of foul play.
