Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 9:59 AM Sunday May 27, 2018 to a report of a person hit by a vehicle at Palatine Road and Chestnut Avenue Arlington Heights, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a male was hit by a vehicle in the eastbound express lanes of Palatine Road near Chestnut Avenue.
The male pedestrian was transported to an unknown hospital.
The vehicle that hit the pedestrian was towed because the wheel or axle of the vehicle was damaged from hitting a curb while attempting to avoid hitting the pedestrian.
The incident was also reported on Waze.
