MUELLER RAID APPARENTLY GIVES IMPORTANCE TO “CREDIBLE” PENTHOUSE-POSING PORN STAR STORMY DANIELS
President blasts Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation as ‘an attack on our country,’ criticizes Jeff Sessions for ‘terrible decision’ to recuse himself — calls FBI raid on Michael Cohen’s office a ‘disgrace’.
Before the start of a meeting Monday night April 9, 2018 with senior military leadership, including National Security Advisor John Bolton and Vice President Mike Pence; President Trump criticized the FBI’s raid of the office of his personal lawyer Michael Cohen, calling it a “disgraceful situation” and an “attack on our country in a true sense … an attack on what we all stand for.”
Trump declared that the Robert Mueller Russia investigation continues to unfairly target him. The president also criticized Attorney General Jeff Sessions for failing to restrain its spread, saying proper notification by Sessions would have resulted in the Trump administration seeking a new attorney general. The president said Sessions, “made what I consider to be a very terrible mistake for the country. But you’ll figure that out.”
The president also continued to criticize former FBI Director James Comey including justifying his firing of Comey: “Well I turned out to do the right thing. If you look at all of the things he’s done and the lies, and you look at what’s going on at the FBI … turned out I did the right thing.”
President Donald J. Trump also announced that a response to Syria is coming as soon as tonight … “We’re going to make a decision tonight or shortly thereafter … We can’t let that happen in our world, especially when we’re able to — because of the power of the United States — we’re able to stop it.”
