Four Men Shot at Gentlemen’s Club on South Halsted St Near 167th St, Harvey

Harvey police and firefighter/paramedics from the south suburban area responded just after 3:49 a.m. Saturday March 17, 2018 to a report of multiple people shot at The Boxxx Gentlemen’s Night Club, 16700 South Halsted Street, Harvey, IL. Four people were shot at the strip club in Harvey early Saturday.

According to a Harvey spokesperson, a man entered the club and shot four men, after an altercation with the victims that started earlier at another club in Dolton, Illinois. The alternation moved on to the Boxxx club at 167th Street and Halsted Street in Harevey.

Two of the victims were transported to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where they were listed in serious-to-critical condition.

A third victim was transported to Level I Trauma Center Cook County Stroger Hospital.

A fourth victim was transported to Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, and listed in stable condition.

Security video has captured the shooting, which is helping with the investigation.

A temporary suspension shut down The Boxxx club by order of the Harvey mayor’s office Saturday morning pending investigations by Harvey police and the city’s planning department.
