Driver’s vehicle towed after minor crash and suspected DUI/Drugs arrest at Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street Arlington Heights.
Arlington Heights police arrested a suspected DUI driver about 1:10 PM Saturday February 10, 2018 after responding to a minor crash at Arlington Heights Road and Miner Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police transported the driver in custody to a temporary holding area. The driver’s vehicle was towed to a police vehicle holding area.
Police discovered that a female driver rear-ended another vehicle in the southbound lanes of Arlington Heights Road near Miner Street.
The driver, identified as Megan Leoffler, was suspected of DUI/Drugs according to police protocol, and was arrested about 1:55 p.m. The driver was then transported to the temporary holding area.
Megan Leoffler, age 23 of Vernon Hills, was charged with suspected DUI/Drugs and Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.
Leoffler was released on I-Bond.
Court date for Megan Leoffler is scheduled at Cook County Circuit Court Rolling Meadows on March 15, 2018.
